John Belushi, the great comedian, did whatever drugs he could find: marijuana, LSD, cocaine, heroin. Despite his self-destructive habits (not limited to drugs), Belushi contributed to American film with such comedic classics as Animal House and The Blues Brothers.
1982 -- Comedian & Blues Brother John Belushi, 33, dies of drug overdose (not marijuana) in the Chateau Marmont Hotel in Beverly Hills. Belushi's vulgar, dangerous & physical sense of humor brought comedy closer to rock & roll than any other comedian.
