04 - 2005 Argentine rock icon ANDRES CALAMARO has been charged after making a comment about cannabis at a gig over a decade ago.
The popular Latin songwriter remarked, "I feel so good that I could smoke a joint," to fans at a concert in 1994.
Calamaro, 43, was taken to court by furious parents, but the judge dismissed the charges.
But disgruntled campaigners are still trying to bring the singer to justice, and have found a less sympathetic magistrate.
Calamaro's lawyer JOSE STEFANUOLO finds the entire case laughable, saying, "This trial is absurd, it's (FRANZ) KAFKA-esque."
