 8 Dec 2009 - Rocker Patty Smyths and her tennis ace husband John McEnroe have reportedly taken a supportive stance in the battle to legalise marijuana in the U.S., after smoking what looked like a spliff during a discussion on marijuana reform. Smyth and McEnroe attended an open debate about cannabis reform at a dinner hosted by celebrated artist Vito Schnabel in Miami, Florida on Thursday (03Dec09), according to the New York Post.Joined by socialites and celebrity guests including actor Stephen Dorff, the couple reportedly shared a roll-up cigarette as the conversation heated up. An attendee explains, “They were talking about grass reforms and the next thing you know they were lighting up. No one seemed to mind, though.” |

 5 Dic 2009 - Hollywood child star, Natalie Portman, has confessed to smoking marijuana during her college days. The actress tried pot in her 20s because she missed out on the usual experimental teenage experiences while making movies from the age of 11.
Natalie likes to rebel every now and then.
She confessed: “OK, so I didn't really go to high school parties and, yeah, I didn't touch pot until I was in my 20s. I didn't get flat-out drunk until I went to college. But I think that's a good thing in many ways."

 3 Dec 2009 - Alanis Morissette has confessed her love for marijuana.
Morissette recently told cannabis culture magazine High Times that she uses weed to promote her creativity, but she says she does so in moderation.
"I'm all about moderation – as best I can be. As an artist, there's a sweet jump-starting quality to it for me," she said. "I've often felt telepathic and receptive to inexplicable messages my whole life. I can stave those off when I'm not high.

In footage that has just come to light after being forgotten for half a century, the “Some Like it Hot” star is seen puffing on what the owner of the film says is a marijuana joint: "I got it (the pot). It was mine. It was just passed around."
