28 May 2012 - TV actor Paul Michael Glaser, famous for playing Detective David Starsky on the popular 1970's series Starsky & Hutch, was arrested for cannabis and paraphernalia possession at the Bowling Green Hilton Garden hotel earlier this month.

He stayed in Kentucky to promote his children's fantasy book, Chrystallia and the Source of Light (under the name of P.M. Glaser).

According to the Bowling Green Daily News, the 69 year old actor who has Califonian medical marijuana license was arrested by local law enforcement May 11, just hours after reading to a group of children. Sources say a guest of the hotel called police several times after spotting Glaser smoking near an elevator, and reported “a smell” in the hallway.

The state of Kentucky does not have medical marijuana laws nore does it recognize prescriptions from states that do.
