23 July 2010 - New Zealand basketball player Corey Webster will miss next month's world championships after being banned for two months for marijuana use. Corey was tested positive in May resulting in a provisional suspension since June the 23rd. The New Zealand men 's basketball coach, Nenad Vucinic, says while Webster's suspension for cannabis use has cost him a chance of going to the World championships it won't end his international career.
The Sport's Tribunal has suspended Webster until August the 23rd.
