Lil Wayne Releases Album From Behind Bars

 5 Oct 2010 - As Lil Wayne’s album I Am Not a Human Being hit the stores on his birthday, September 27, the singer is spending time in the jail. The rapper, who was arrested for criminal possession of a weapon and contorlled substances, released the album from behind bars. “I Am Not a Human Being” is Wayne’s eighth studio album. It follows his 2010 golden release called “Rebirth”
Lil Wayne was arrested in July 2007 in New York City after smoking marijuana near Beacon Theatre. It was after this that the police also discovered that he also had a 0.40 calibre pistol with him. After much postponing, the 28 year old was put behind bars in March 2010. He’s currently scheduled to be released on November 4 this year.
Lil Wayne recorded and planned everything related to I Am Not a Human Being before entering prison. In an interview from prison, he said, “Making the album was totally fun, because I love recording. That’s what I love to do, next to breathing. I made sure I had some material before I came in here to release while I was in here.”
The rapper is also overwhelmed by the response he is getting for his latest work. I Am Not a Human Being is definitely a great reason for the jailed artist to be happy.
