22 Dec 2009 - Lil Wayne was forced to postpone his concert last Friday in Laredo, Texas, after US Border Patrol officers found cannabis on his two tour buses.

The rapper and 11 other people were along the way to Laredo for a concert at American Bank Center when a drug dog alerted agents at the Falfurrias checkpoint at about 3 pm.

Officials reportedly would not say how much marijuana was found but did say the rapper, whose real name is Dwayne Carter, and his entourage were not in possession of the drug.

Carter was detained, questioned and released without charge. Even the risk of being charged with a drug possession would prove detrimental to the rapper, who is expected to serve a one year sentence for a weapons charge starting in February 2010.

Lil Wayne rescheduled the show for the following night, which reportedly went forward without incident.
