21 March 2008 - Mary Ann' actress says the marijuana wasn't hers. Actress Dawn Wells, famous for portraying Mary Ann on Gilligan's Island, has given her side of the story that marijuana was found in her car during a traffic stop.
Wells told the "Fox and Friends" show on the Fox News channel that the marijuana was not hers. It belonged to a man who had previously used the car and that she didn't even know it was there.

Wells is now serving six months' unsupervised probation for the crime.
