2006 nov. 10 - HUMBLE, Texas -- Country music singer Doug Supernaw has been arrested on a drug charge, the latest in a series of his run-ins with the law.

Supernaw, best known for his 1993 No. 1 hit "I Don't Call Him Daddy," was arrested at a club Wednesday on a marijuana possession charge. The 46-year-old was released from the Harris County Jail on $1,000 bail and is due in court Nov. 16. Jail officials said Friday that no attorney is listed for Supernaw.
