24 Nov 2010 - Eonline.com reports that Butch Patrick, who played Eddie Munster on the 1960s American family television sitcom, The Munsters, has long battled problems with cocaine, marijuana and alcohol, but recently checked himself into a rehabilitation centre. He recently hit rock bottom after learning the velvet jacket he wore on the hit 1960s TV series had been stolen and put on sale online. Not long after he entered the program Patrick quit and almost overdosed on drugs.
Patrick's family and friends staged an intervention after the the 57 year old actor flew to Los Angeles, and they convinced him to enrol in a new substance abuse course to deal with his issues.
The former child star agreed and will enter the Oasis centre in California.
