9 Feb 2009 - After the reports on the mishaps of Michael Phelps, Terry Glenn and sumo wrestler Wakakirin, we have more news from the world of pro sports this week. Kansas City Chiefs tight end Michael Merritt was arrested of for pot possession last Thursday. The Police report says, officers spotted Merritt rolling a marijuana cigarette in his car. They saw Merritt ”put a cigar-shaped object into his mouth”. He was then ordered Merritt out of the car. Police said they found 3 grams of pot in a bag in Merritt’s shoe and 1 gram of pot in the joint. The pro football player was booked and later released. According to the police report, Merritt said, “All this for a little bit of weed?”
