14 March 2012 - Acclaimed movie star Michael Madsen, famed for his roles in "Kill Bill", "Donnie Brasco," and "Reservoir Dogs", was arrested and charged with felony child endangerment.last week. He spent Friday night in jail.
Being notified of a family dispute at the property, police came to Madsen’s Malibu home Friday afternoon, where they found the actors’ son injured. Madsen, who was immediately arrested, appeared to be under the influence of alcohol, TMZ reported. Madsen’s son was injured but not in need of medical attention.
Madsen’s lawyer, Perry Wander, claims the argument sparked when Madsen found his son smoking cannabis and attempted to take it away. He described the dispute as a "family matter" and requested privacy.
Madsen, who himself is known to have smoked a joint or two in his day, played down the incident as he was released from custody, saying "everything's fine." He was charged with child endangerment and cruelty to a child. He was released from Lost Hills station on $100,000 bail early Saturday morning.
