11 April 2012 - Davy Jones toxicology results show there were cannabinoids in his system. Autopsy results showed the frontman of America's first made-for-TV boy band, The Monkees, died after suffering a severe heart attack and now toxicology tests have since showed he had cannabinoids in his body too. But, TMZ says, it is also clear from the report that the cannabinoids did not play any role in Davy's death. The toxicology report came back negative for other drugs
The British-born singer passed away in Florida in February at age 66.Monkees co-creator Bob Rafelson commented that Jones "deserves a lot of credit, let me tell you. He may not have lived as long as we wanted him to, but he survived about seven lifetimes, including being perhaps the biggest rock star of his time."
