8 Feb 2010 - After many troubling months following Jack Herer's devastating heart attack last September, his wife Jeannie Herer is now his official guardian. The decision was made on Feb. 3. in Lane County Court in Oregon. 

Power of attorney given to Joy Graves and Chuck Jacobs on Sept. 12, the day Herer suffered the heart attack at Hempstalk in Portland, was revoked. Graves didn't show up in court.

 

A month ago, Graves withdrew $800 from Herer's Wells Fargo bank account.

 

With the ending of this particularly painful ordeal, the focus returns to Herer's health.

"He can sit up and tries to speak," says lawyer Bill McPike. "We can only pray for Jack's full recovery."
