19 June 2009 - Megan Fox was subjected to a little cross-examination on her recent comments on cannabis legalisation in GQ magazine. The actress, who is currently the UK promoting the new movie Transformers 2, was attending the London press presentation when a journalist asked her what sort of message she's sending to her fans about recreational drug use. Fox, who stated in the GQ interview she thought marijuana use should be legal, answered: "I wouldn´t call it recreational drug use because that makes it sound like I go to clubs and do Cocaine".
4 June 2009 - Transformers star Megan Fox has called for the U.S. government to legalize marijuana - insisting she would be the "first person in line to buy a pack of joints."
The actress admits she enjoys smoking the illegal drug and would be happy to see the laws changed to allow it to be sold legally in America. And she slams U.S. politicians for not taking action sooner, calling their war on drugs "all propaganda."
