15 June 2013 - Earlier this week Zayn Malik and Louis Tomlinson, members of the popular boyband One Direction, were seen puffing on a suspicious looking cigarette.
Recent pictures show all the One Direction singers chilling on a private yacht in the surroundings of Miami, while both Louis and fellow Directioner Zayn Malik were inhaling from what looks to be cannabis joint and there appears to be a joint on the table, too.
Even though besides the pictures there's no real evidence the pop idols were smoking marijuana fans speculated wildly about the alleged pot smoking Zayn and Louis. It's not the first weed smoking rumor about Zayn. Last summer the 21 year old singer quit Twitter after he was targeted by people accusing him of smoking cannabis.
The spokesperson of the boyband declined to comment when contacted by MailOnline.

9 June 2013 - Seth Rogen says in a recent interview with Rolling Stone magazine that his approach to smoking marijuana has
changed a lot as he's grown older. Famous for the stoner action comedy 'Pineapple Express', Rogen has always been
open about his marijuana use throughout the years.
The 31 year old comedian, who is currently promoting his new film
'This Is the End', says: "I consider myself more of a pothead than a
stoner," adding: "A pothead has the connotation of
being someone who just smokes a lot of pot and has stopped thinking about
it." The Canadian actor
went on to say: "For the first few years that people smoke weed, they're
always trying to classify it and qualify it, 'Is this bad weed, is this good
weed, what is it doing?' "Then, eventually, it just is what it is, and
I've been there for, like, 10 years. It's so stupid, but I don't think about it
anymore."
Seth Rogen's latest movie This Is the End stars himself, James Franco, Jonah Hill, Jay Baruchel,
Danny McBride, and Craig Robinson as fictional versions of themselves in the
aftermath of a global apocalypse.

Melissa Etheridge

6 June 2013 - Rock singer-songwriter Melissa Etheridge wrote an open letter to CNN in which she advocates the legalization of marijuana.
The Grammy and Oscar winner writes about the relief marijuana brought her when she was fighting breast cancer in 2004. During her chemo she used medical marijuana every day, it helped against the nausea and gave her an appetite. She’s a medicinal marijuana smoker for nine years now and she says “it helps with regulating my sleep. I find relief from the gastrointestinal effects of the chemo even now"
Further on she writes that she believes it’s time to shine a light on the old "Reefer Madness" fears. "The state of fear in which these laws were created has changed," "Pot is still lumped by the federal government into a drug group that has no current medical use" and "Educated people have experienced pot or they understand that research has shown that while marijuana use is not entirely safe, its dangers have been grossly overstated."
As a mother, Etheridge added, "Let's legitimize cannabis sales so that our youth are as protected from illegal pot as they are from illegal alcohol and tobacco sales. Legitimize the growers so that pot can have regulations and I know I am supporting American businesses and not outlaws when I purchase it. "
She ends the letter by saying "We can be the generation that makes the change. We live in a nation that holds freedom as a sacred right. Let's put an end to marijuana prohibition and get clear regulations on the legal sale of pot. The benefits might surprise us. "

Trinidad James

|
26 May 2013 - In his lyrics rapper Trinidad James frequently refers to illegal substances and in a recent interview with hip hop magazine XXL, the 25 year old rapper was asked about his role in promoting drug use. He stated that "doing drugs is not right" but didn't take responsibility for what other people do.
"Honestly man, life is based on moderation. Anything that you do, you have to do it in moderation," he explained. "People overdo it and it turns into people OD’ing or dying, but it’s all about how extreme you go with it. Some artists have made some of their most incredible music on drugs, so for me to say that drugs are messing up hip-hop, I’m not going to say that. It’s just that some people really believe so much of what we say, and people honestly don’t understand moderation."
When asked about his personal relationship with drugs Trinidad revealed his relationship with marijuana: "I smoke weed, I get high, and I love it" and "Yeah, I mean, I could stop smoking weed right now if I had to, but there’s no reason for me to stop. I do it because it’s good for me." The All Gold Everything rapper said that rappers aren't responsible for other people's personal choices. "But at the end of the day, it’s all about moderation and you being your goddamn self".
